Keynote Lecture Jesús Gonzalo – July 8, 2026

Jesús Gonzalo received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, in 1991 (under Professors Clive Granger and Robert Engel). He was a professor at Boston University from 1991 to 1996. He served as a tenured professor at UC3M from 1996 to 2003. He has been a full professor in the Department of Foundations of Economic Analysis since 2003. He has over 8,000 citations on Google Scholar and ranks in the top 3% and 5% worldwide on most of REPEC’s publication impact indicators. Two articles rank among the top 1% of the most-cited articles in Economics. Fellow of the Journal of Econometrics and the International Association of Applied Econometrics. Recipient of the 2025 Julián Marías Research Award, presented by the Community of Madrid in recognition of his distinguished scientific career in the field of Social Sciences.
