Bio
Ph.D. in Economics from Autonomous University of Madrid, with honours.
Visiting scholar at George Mason University, 1999 and 2000.
He served as Vice-Rector of Graduate Studies at UAM from 2009-2013.
He also served as Seconded National Expert at the European Commission from 2016-18 (DG of Economic and Financial Affairs; Inflation, Monetary Policy and Exchange Rates unit)
Currently (2019-), he is the Head of the School of Economic Intelligence and International Relationships at UAM

Advanced Macroeconomics: Numerical Methods
Research Interests
International macroeconomics (global imbalances), international monetary theory and geoeconomics.
Currently I am working on the impact of geopolitical and geoeconomic shocks on EMEs.
